Queensland's first pachinko club, built the slow way
Pachinko Bounty opened on Queen Street Mall in 2019 with forty machines and a stubborn belief that Brisbane would love this game. Six years, four expansions and 128 machines later, that bet paid off.
Bring the parlour experience to Brisbane, without cutting corners
Pachinko is part arcade, part craft and part culture. We import genuine machines through licensed Japanese suppliers, recalibrate them for our floor and wrap the whole thing in hospitality that would make a Nagoya parlour proud. No cash gambling, no shortcuts, no watered-down version.
- Genuine machines, refurbished by our in-house technicians
- Transparent bounty redemption inside Queensland licensing
- A floor that welcomes complete beginners every day
Six years, four floors worth of machines
The opening
Forty machines, one floor, and a launch week so busy we ran out of token trays twice.
The mezzanine
The VIP lounge opens with twenty curated machines and the private bounty bar members still talk about.
Tournament floor
A dedicated competition section launches the Friday bracket and the Brisbane Cup league.
128 machines
The vintage row completes the floor, and membership passes 4,800 players across three tiers.
Three rules from the floor up
Hospitality first
Every guest gets greeted, every beginner gets help and nobody is made to feel like a tourist on our floor. The machines are loud; the welcome is warmer.
Honest mechanics
Ball counts are machine-verified and printed. Prize values are posted plainly. Machine classes are labelled. We would rather lose a session than lose your trust.
Play it light
Pachinko is entertainment, not income. Session budgets, break reminders and a permanent self-exclusion option keep the floor fun for everyone.
The workshop most guests never see
Every unit on our floor passes through a five-person technical bench before it earns a spot. Nails are set, payout windows tested, cabinet electronics refurbished and each machine logged with its own calibration sheet.
- Arrival inspection - full teardown, ball-path check and electronics test after shipping from Japan.
- Nail calibration - technicians set the nail field for the variance class the machine will run.
- Burn-in week - seventy-two hours of continuous test play before public use.
- Weekly audits - every unit is rechecked and logged so the floor stays honest.

The game that refused to stay in Japan
Pachinko parlours never exported well. The machines were heavy, the culture was opaque and the prize system confused regulators. So we built the bridge ourselves: genuine machines, a transparent bounty loop inside Australian licensing, and a floor designed to teach rather than gatekeep.
The result is a club that feels like Osaka on the machines and unmistakably Brisbane everywhere else.

The floor is hiring
We teach pachinko from scratch. What we cannot teach is liking people. If hospitality is your thing, we want to hear from you.
Floor Hosts
Guest inductions, machine help, redemption support. Evening and weekend shifts, RSA friendly.
Machine Technicians
Calibration, repair and restoration on genuine Japanese cabinets. Electronics background required.
Event Crew
Corporate nights, celebrations and tournament evenings. Casual roster, hospitality experience preferred.

Questions we get at the door
The club is owned and operated by Pachinko Bounty Entertainment Brisbane Pty Ltd (ABN 84 291 637 405), founded by Daniel Mercer. The full company details are on the legal notice page.
Every cabinet is a genuine unit imported through licensed suppliers in Osaka, refurbished and recalibrated by our own technical bench. We do not run clones or emulators.
No. Balls redeem for prizes on the bounty wall inside the club. There is no cash gambling anywhere in the venue, which is how the club operates under Queensland amusement licensing.
Our licence conditions and house policy both require it. It also keeps the evening atmosphere consistent: a night out for adults, two minutes from Central Station.
The machines sound better in person
Two minutes from Central Station, open until late every night. First visit takes about an hour to sink in.
